6 Simple Steps On How To Make Your Business Idea Effective In Africa

I do know that everyone who wants to start a business all have different or same business ideas and different approach to go about that business but let me let you know that it is not all about the idea you have or how much you have to start up the business, however it is how dedicated and hardworking you are, how many sacrifice you made, how persistent you are and how you plan everything before starting.

What I meant is that you might have a business idea but if you don’t have a solid plan or motive to start that means your ideas is all a waste.

Well we should all know that not all planned project goes well expect those who do not plan it well. While I was doing some research I came up with 6 simple steps on how to make your business idea effective in Africa;

1.Follow And Study The Trend
We should know that we should be on social media where you get the latest trend on business, listen to news concerning business like Facebook, Twitter, Quora and reading business newspapers because they are places where you can get the latest about that business idea you have or something similar to it. This will help you to know what, where, how, when you can start that business.

2.Seminar
Going for seminars is a nice thing to do. Why? This is because you might meet different people with the same or similar idea concept which you have but who has made it in the market world. This also might help you to know or enlighten you more about how to go about your business idea.

3.Research
What do I mean by research? After you have done the above and gather information, you can now go on by doing some deep research about that your business ideas i.e. knowing what your customers want in terms of what to produce, how to produce, whom to produce to, base on your business idea either tech, food, lifestyle and so on.

4.Draw and Put Down Your Plans
Planning is one of the most crucial part of a business and a inherently strategic. It is a written description of your business's future, a document that tells what you plan to do and how you plan to do it. If you jot down a paragraph on the back of an envelope describing your business strategy, you've written a plan, or at least the germ of a plan. This is so because it will let you know the next steps to take and also allow you to take a step back to think through the important issues associated with an abstract and unproven idea.

5.Get Established
Getting established is very important. After you have finished planning (but do remember that you can never finish planning) and also having the things needed for the business to grow then you can get established i.e. getting registered and so on

6.Always put Africa First
This is the most important part of all. Putting African people first will surely help your business to grow and expand well like Dangote (Aliko Dangote Chairman And CEO of Dangote), METL Enterprise (Mohammed Dewji Chief Executive Of METL Enterprise) then after you can go worldwide.

French workers now have legal right

Now French workers have the legal right to totally ignore work emails outside of working hours, according to a new law that will go into effect with the beginning of the new year.
Companies with more than 50 employees must now establish defined hours of when staff are banned from sending or answering work-related emails.
This is part of a bunch of new labor laws introduced in May to prevent employees from essentially working off-the-clock.
“All the studies show there is far more work-related stress today than there used to be, and that the stress is constant,” Member of Parliament Benoit Hamon told the BBC.
“Employees physically leave the office, but they do not leave their work. They remain attached by a kind of electronic leash – like a dog. The texts, the messages, the emails – they colonize the life of the individual to the point where he or she eventually breaks down,” he said.

Ways Nigerian Can Attract New Customers To Small Business

Nigerian's who owns small business understand that the customer is the major source of means for his/her trade but most owners find it hard to attract customers.
However, Their are some ways to make it easier for the small business owners to attract customers to their enterprise and these are:

- Word-of-mouth Advertising
Word-of-mouth advertising is important for every business, as each happy customer can steer dozens of new ones your way. And it's one of the most credible forms of advertising because a person puts their reputation on the line every time they make a recommendation and that person has nothing to gain but the appreciation of those who are listening.

- Cross-promote or Co-marketing your business
Cross-promotion, or co-marketing, means teaming up with another business to create a promotion that benefits both of you. The key is to collaborate with a business that doesn’t directly compete with you.
Let’s say you own a bed and breakfast chain in a popular tourist destination. You currently offer an equal number of mixed dorm, private twin, and private double beds every day. To promote an offer, you create social media ads, advertise on local billboards, and organize a family event in the city center. In the holiday season, all your private twin and double beds sell out, but your mixed dorm beds only have few bookings.

- Explore Into Distinct Communities
Try not to rely on your ads or testimonies from customer and wait for customers to just start showing up but try to engage yourself into clubs/firms as well as different causes you come across with and positively introduce your business. Exploring these distinct communities will create opportunities to network. Always remember that "the more interest you explore, the more publicity for your business the greater the number of people you network with. "

- Social Media Marketing
This is a form of internet marketing that implements various social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram are great choice in order to achieve marketing communication and branding goals. Social media marketing primarily covers activities involving social sharing of content, videos, and images for marketing purposes, as well as paid social media advertising.
